If you don’t love a glitter ball then you aren’t my friend…only kidding!
These epic balls of sparkliness were rescued from a local florist who had no use for them, so of course I had to save them.
If you want to add a bit of retro sparkle to your wedding or event then my glitter balls are sure to do just that. Hang them from the ceiling in clusters and let them spin or use them to decorate your styling on ground level. However you decide to use them your event is sure to be one sparkly occasion of fun!

Open Top Glitter Balls
Also rescued at the same time as my whole glitterballs, these open topped glitterballs open up the imagination for all sorts of uses and styling ideas…which I can’t wait to see!
Not your typical hanging basket but how amazing do they look filled with floral arrangements OR if you really want to think outside the box you could line them and fill them with sweets!

Deck Chairs
I don’t know about you but I LOVE these deckchairs!
Rescued from a local 5* hotel who only thought they were fit for a skip, I had to save them. Scrubbing the seating cloth and teak oiling the frame, I think they have come up pretty well and nearly as good as new. Hire these deckchairs and they will help create some great photos for you on your special day.

Enamel Vintage Bucket

Another rescue, this lovely vintage white enamel bucket can be used for whatever you like. It comes with my freestanding bottle opener to catch the bottle tops or you can hire it on its own. Why not fill the bottom with sand and add some sparklers so your guests can help themselves when it is time for your sparkler shot, or, instead of a guestbook ask your guests to write you a ‘Bucket List’ note and pop it in the bucket for you to read later. With a bit of imagination this bucket has so many uses for your wedding or event.

Photobooth Prop Tower
If you are looking to create a fun budget friendly DIY photobooth you might need some props to go with it. You can either hire my ‘Fun Foto Frame’ as a package which will include the Prop Tower or you can hire the tower on it’s own. The choice is yours as to which option will make your life easier.
Made from old rescued cable drums which have been sanded, varnished and finished off with handcrafted wooden tops, this prop tower is unique to Mae & Maple. Comes complete with a vintage trunk full of handmade double sided wooden signs with funny messages on and a variety of rescued hats, sunglasses and whatever else I can find that will make for some fun photos!

Straw Bale Cover Ups

Using straw bales for seating, whether it’s for a wedding ceremony or an evening garden party is a popular choice. However, it can be a little uncomfortable as no one wants straw poking them up the bottom!
Contacting my local coffee suppliers I was really happy when they said I could rescue and recycle some of their coffee sacks they no longer had a use for. Sending them off to my mum she has sewn loops into each corner so they can be hooked and securely fastened on to the sides of your straw bales. The perfect and slightly quirky straw bale cover to protect your guests delicate bottoms!
Note: All the coffee sacks are different by colour, design and texture making your ceremony seating that little bit different to everyone elses!
